the idiom of the day is 'the pot calling the kettle black'. so what does it mean? it means 'a situation in which one person criticizes another for a fault he/she has him/herself'. for example, A accused B for lying but A was a liar as well. in this case, B would have the right to say to A 'the pot calling the kettle black'. in mandarin, it is written as either '五十步笑百步' or '乌鸦笑猪黑'.

malaysians are thoughtful?
well, guess what? some passers-by stopped their cars in the middle of the road and started helping themselves. as you can see in the photos. i am not saying whether they were right or wrong. but still, i found it very amusing that everyone was carrying at least a carton of beer! you couldn't blame them, you know. nowadays, one carton of beer costs around RM100.00. the anonymous guy in the picture have gotten himself a whooping RM300.00 worth of beer! good for him? yes? no? thoughtful? helpful?
judge it yourself. of course, one picture is not enough to represent the whole community. this is posted just for everyone's amusement.
